60319 CITY Fire Rescue & Police Chase

Image
60319 CITY Fire Rescue & Police Chase Today, I present to you the 60319 Fire Rescue & Police Chase set, from the CITY theme. It's a new set, and it includes some of the new elements and colors for CITY, like the cat mold, and the new color vibrant yellow. This set is for children 5 and up, and includes 260 pieces. The set includes a pickup truck, a quadcopter, a motorcycle, a muscle car and a side build with a power substation and traffic light. It also comes with 3 minifigures, including a fireman named Bob. I really like this set because it's just like an affordable starter pack for emergency services, with the cops and firemen and criminals and all. The roadside substation also adds some color to this set, and even though it is mostly for display, the sliding plate in front moves up to reveal cables and batteries, which is a nice play function. The motorcycle isn't that special, but it's still pretty nice that it was included instead of a police car or somet...

60307 CITY Wildlife Rescue Camp

Image
60307 CITY Wildlife Rescue Camp With the new wave of LEGO will come some amazing sets, and this 60307 CITY Wildlife Rescue Camp is one of a kind. It's a great set, and it includes some amazing animal elements, clearly painstakenly designed, as they are absolutely splendid looking. This set contains a truck, a complex perched on top of the trees, a rocky ledge, another rock, a small boat, a tiny airplane, and 6 minifigures. One of these figs is from the CITY television show, and that is Sleet. This set also comes with a motorcycle and 7 animals. They are an elephant, a lion, a lioness, two lion cubs, a monkey, and an eagle.  The set is loaded with cool functions and builds, and I still can't believe that this set has only 503 pieces. That's nothing compared to some of the other sets this size. Now, let's look at the truck. The inside of the truck is filled with medical equipment for the animals, as well as space for the minifigs to fit in. The door parts at the rear of ...

31100 CREATOR 3-in-1 Sports Car

Image
31100 CREATOR Sports Car The 31100 CREATOR Sports Car is a recent LEGO release, and a CREATOR set. I feel the need to review this to be fair to the CREATOR fans out there, including myself. This set comes with 134 pieces, which can be used to build either a sports car, a hot rod or a cargo plane. There are no minifigures included, which may be a downer for some people, but it's totally fine. The absence of minifigures does not stop this set from being great for both play and display. The sports car is a beautiful model, with its extensive detail and sleek design. The spoiler is foldable, which allows this vehicle to quickly change looks, even if the only difference is the position of the spoiler. It rolls along quite nicely, mainly because of the wheels, which are rarely used elements in the world of LEGO. Maybe it's because of the popularity of the classic wheel part. But anyway, we have to continue. Here is the second build you can make, and it is a hot rod. It's burstin...

71765 NINJAGO Ninja Ultra Combo Mech

Image
71765 NINJAGO Ninja Ultra Combo Mech Although there hasn't been a new season of NINJAGO in a few months, NINJAGO sets are still coming out just like they did previously. Now, instead of the sets tying in with the television show, they are now based off of the new comic book series. You'll notice that the designs on the boxes are different, and that's just one of the changes that come with the new wave of sets. Anyway, let's dive into this review. When you purchase this set, you get a huge mech and a small one. As a bonus, you get a plane, a mining vehicle, a heavy-duty vehicle, and another mech. You also get 7 minifigures, which are: Kai, Jay, Cole, Zane, a Wu Bot, a Cobra Mechanic, and a Boa Destructor. These last two are new additions from the comic book series and appear in all the latest NINJAGO sets.  Now, don't say that I lied when I said that there were 4 other vehicles... because there are. In fact, the mech is made up of these vehicles! You can see that th...

31066 CREATOR 3-in-1 Space Shuttle Explorer

Image
31066 CREATOR Space Shuttle Explorer I have never done a review on a CREATOR set, so today I decided it would be nice if I did. I present to you  31066 CREATOR Space Shuttle Adventure! It's a great set, and the models that you can build are unlike any other space-themed CREATOR options. Sadly, this set didn't get much shelf life and was retired a few years ago, which makes this set a hard one to find. Anyway, like most CREATOR sets, the minifig count is pretty low, as this set only comes with one, an astronaut. This set includes a space shuttle, a satellite, and an astronaut minifigure, as mentioned before.  Not much to see here. Just a small space shuttle and a minifig, but believe me, when you look inside this build you'll be amazed. The minifig is decent, and resembles your good old LEGO astronaut, and the backpack that it's wearing is a quick and easy build to put together. It also looks good. The clips at the sides are very maneuverable and don't really get in...

60330 CITY Hospital

Image
60330 CITY Hospital New waves of LEGO sets are always an exciting thing, but this year was more than exciting. It was phenomenal! We got a mobile crane, more police headquarters sets, a fire station, a series of stunt-inspired sets, and other great stuff. But, to top off the list, we got a hospital. There hasn't been a hospital set for years, so that's why it's kind of a big deal. The newest hospital set is loaded with minifigs and beautiful builds, so all this waiting was really worth it. In a moment, you'll see what I mean. Anyway, this set includes a hospital, a helicopter, an ambulance truck, and 12 minfigures. 4 of them are named, and they are: Dr. Flieber, Dr. Spetzel, Citrus the Clown, and Wallop. This set also includes a wheelchair and dirt bike. It's a really big change from last year, since we were only getting a few builds (most times a single building), but now we're getting sets overflowing with builds and figs. I hope this continues... The hospita...

76156 MARVEL Rise of the Domo

Image
76156 MARVEL Rise of the Domo Marvel is currently in its 4th phase of rapid film releases, and one of the results of this rush is Eternals. It was released last year, but the LEGO sets from this film have really taken their time. I won't say they're horrible, but I won't say they're perfect either. Here is one of these sets: 76156 MARVEL Rise of the Domo! When you buy this set, you get: the Eternals' triangular spaceship, 2 Deviant monsters and 6 minifigures. These figs are all Eternals, as it is with every other set based on the film, and they are: Makkari, Ikaris, Sersi, Druig, Thena, and Phastos. Greek myths come to mind when thinking of these names, which is interesting and might provide a clue of where the directors got the influence. Anyway, this set is also packed with accessories, which I won't list here because it is futile. Here is the set! By the way, those blast pieces on the right are merely a quarter of the number of great accessories that come w...

60324 CITY Mobile Crane

Image
60324 CITY Mobile Crane CITY sets are back, with more great builds and minifigs. One of these new sets is a mobile crane vehicle, called 60324 CITY Mobile Crane. It's a great addition to your MOC city, considering that a crane like this has never been made. Yes, there was a TECHNIC version, but how are you going to fit that into your city? I'm just talking about good old bricks. Let's get to the set now. It includes 1 crane, a road plate, and 2 minifigures. Not much to it considering how much you'll have to pay for this set, but still, exclusive parts abound in this one. None of the minifigs are named, but you'll find that they still make appearances in the TV show. All of the unnamed figs still get a part in the show, but that's not what we're here to discuss, is it? The crane looks pretty good, if I may say so myself. It has an operating boom and a working winch system, which is great news for the buyers that want to play with this set and not just displa...

76951 JURASSIC WORLD Pyroraptor & Dilophosaurus Transport

Image
76951 JURASSIC WORLD Pyroraptor & Dilophosaurus Transport Jurassic World: Dominion is set to hit the theaters in June, but that doesn't stop LEGO from releasing sets based on the film a few months early. We've already heard tell of maybe 4 or 5 sets, and one of these is the  76951 JURASSIC WORLD Pyroraptor & Dilophosaurus Transport. The set comes with an off-road truck, a trailer, a tiny satellite dish, and 2 dinosaurs. These are the Pyroraptor and the Dilophosaurus. The set comes with 3 minfigs as well, and they are: Ian Malcolm, Ellie Sattler, and a ACU officer presented as 'Guard' on the box. The dinosaurs also count as minifigs on the box, but technically, they're creature pieces. What's most amazing about this set to me is that the Pyroraptor actually has feathers here, and we've never had that before, both in the films and sets. The Dilophosaurus remains mostly unchanged and looking good, with the only difference being the printing on the fri...

75325 STAR WARS The Mandalorian's N-1 Starfighter

Image
75325 STAR WARS The Mandalorian's N-1 Starfighter  Wow! This new set will blow your mind! It's yet another STAR WARS set based on the new television shows on Disney+, this time the series being The Book of Boba Fett. This set is the 75325 STAR WARS The Mandalorian's N-1 Starfighter. It contains a modified N-1 starfighter and 4 minifigs, which include: The Mandalorian, Grogu, Peli Motto, and a BD droid. This set also comes with a few accessories, most notably the Darksaber. Although this set is small, it really is a good one... I'll have to admit. The only problem I have is the price, which you will see later. Yep, it's just your good old ship and a few characters, but it exceeds the standards when it comes to basic LEGO starships. Take a look at the back of the model, and you will see two cockpits. This feature is quite surprising, considering that so many other ships lack this feature. Actually, I should say that they don't have enough. Considering this, you ma...

75326 STAR WARS Boba Fett's Throne Room

Image
75326 STAR WARS Boba Fett's Throne Room Aaah... finally. The newest wave of LEGO is here! Additionally, with the release of several new STAR WARS television series, there are more new sets than ever! It's great, so today we'll be reviewing the 75326 STAR WARS Boba Fett's Throne Room, a set inspired by the new series The Book of Boba Fett. This set includes 3 interconnected buildings acting as Jabba's Palace, and 7 minifigures. They are: Boba Fett. Fennec Shand, Bib Fortuna, a Theelin dancer, a Weequay guard, a Gamorrean guard, and a Quarren. This set is absolutely amazing because it includes so many new minifigures, such as this version of Boba Fett, and Fennec Shand.  Here it is! It looks pretty plain at first sight, but there are quite a few features which make this build more exciting. For example, the palace can fold out to display the insides (which are actually very detailed). Take a look at this picture below. There are so many good points about this set, ju...
