75325 STAR WARS The Mandalorian's N-1 Starfighter
Wow! This new set will blow your mind! It's yet another STAR WARS set based on the new television shows on Disney+, this time the series being The Book of Boba Fett. This set is the 75325 STAR WARS The Mandalorian's N-1 Starfighter. It contains a modified N-1 starfighter and 4 minifigs, which include: The Mandalorian, Grogu, Peli Motto, and a BD droid. This set also comes with a few accessories, most notably the Darksaber. Although this set is small, it really is a good one... I'll have to admit. The only problem I have is the price, which you will see later.
Yep, it's just your good old ship and a few characters, but it exceeds the standards when it comes to basic LEGO starships. Take a look at the back of the model, and you will see two cockpits. This feature is quite surprising, considering that so many other ships lack this feature. Actually, I should say that they don't have enough. Considering this, you may come to the conclusion that this kind of a dumb statement. Okay, it might've been a little stupid, but there are more reasons to love this one.
Here's the box, and it displays the functions perfectly for you to see. First of all, there are several plates that can be removed to store stuff under. If that's not enough, the disk mounted on the binocular piece at the helm of the build can be pressed to trigger a turret underneath the ship's main body. All you have to do is press down on this gadget, and the turret sends a projectile soaring through the air. Amazing, and I do hope that my statement made previously is looked upon a little better from here on.
Finally, we come to the characters. In my opinion, the Mando fig isn't such a big deal, but that BD droid is a completely different story. The BD droid is the first of its kind in LEGO, and it is a good start. I can't believe that this droid hasn't gotten its own character in LEGO, but I guess now that we have it I'd better quit at the complaining. Motto's character is a nice addition to this set, and the printing on the torso and legs are a new take on dirty mechanics' clothing. I like it, to be honest. It looks convincing, and my opinion is improved just because I hold this set in high opinion.
This The Mandalorian's N-1 Starfighter starts at around $59.99.
