60292 CITY Town Centre

Image
60292 CITY Town Centre When 2021 began, the CITY theme drastically changed, with fewer pieces and smaller builds. The new road and fire pieces were also a big change. Most of it isn't an improvement, but some of it is. A few sets are pretty nice and have a lot of stuff that you won't get in pre-2021 sets, like the road pieces, like I have mentioned before, and way more characters! Today, I'll be reviewing 60292 CITY Town Centre. In this set, you get: a car wash, a pizza place, 11 road pieces, a recycling truck, a small car, a motorcycle, 2 crates, a motorbike and 10 minifigures. Only two of them are named, and they are: Shirley Keeper and Madison. This set also includes a dog and studs for shooting. For accessories, you get: a water launcher/gun, 2 ninja swords, a broom, a shovel, 3 letters, 2 kendo helmets, a motorbike helmet, a controller/device, 2 pizza boxes, a pizza, a baby carrier, a leash, a pair of red berries and a crowbar.  This lineup of minifigures isn't t...

75222 STAR WARS Betrayal at Cloud City

Image
75222 STAR WARS Betrayal at Cloud City There have been many amazing sets over the years, especially for STAR WARS, with its UCS line of sets. Today, I'll be reviewing 75222 STAR WARS Betrayal at Cloud City. It's a UCS, with 2812 pieces, and it's for 14+. Like I said before, this set is amazing! We get some medium-sized builds in this set, including the Slave I. So, in this set you get: Cloud City, Slave I, a Twin-Pod Cloud Car and 20 minifigures. The minifigures are: an Ugnaught, Lando Calrissian, Han Solo (with an exclusive leg piece), Hoth Princess Leia, Carbon-Freeze Chamber Han Solo, Darth Vader, Bespin Luke Skywalker, Boba Fett, C-3PO, R2-D2 (I recently found out that LEGO treats R2 as a minifigure), IG-88, Lobot, Bespin Princess Leia, Chewbacca, 2 Bespin Guards, 2 stormtroopers and 2 Cloud Car pilots. You also get some studs for shooting. For weapons, you get: a blue lightsaber, a red lightsaber, 4 blasters, 1 blaster pistol, a stud...

75284 STAR WARS Knights of Ren Transport Ship

Image
75 284 STAR WARS Knights of Ren Transport Ship This STAR WARS ship isn't as iconic as the Millennium Falcon or the Death Star, but it still is pretty cool-looking. As the mobile base of the group 'The Knights of Ren', this ship looks menacing, but since this is a LEGO model, it might have some missing details. This ship only fits a few Knights, like the ones that come in this set. In this set, you get: Knights of Ren Transport Ship and the usual projectiles for the spring-loaded shooters. You also get 3 minifigures, which are: Rey and 2 Knights of Ren. Again, I don't know their names. For weapons, you get: a blue lightsaber, a shoretrooper-style blaster and an arm launcher or something (it looks like a gun because it's LEGO, but in the movie the guy wears it on his arm). The build looks like your usual bad guy ship from the movies, but there are a lot of things about this particular starship that sets it apart. First of all, one of the turrets can be sat on by a mi...

75201 STAR WARS First Order AT-ST

Image
75201 STAR WARS First Order AT-ST We have gotten several AT-ST sets over the years, but we've only gotten one First Order model, and guess what? It's incomplete! This set, 75201 First Order AT-ST, is good for the characters and side builds, but for the main build, not so much. In this set, you get a First Order AT-ST and a repair platform. For the characters, you get: Disguised Finn, Disguised Rose, BB-8 and Captain Phasma. You also get a few projectiles for play. This set isn't fit for display as much as play. As the picture shows, the cabin of the AT-ST is missing, but it's easier to place the minifigures down. The platform can move up and down thanks to the TECHNIC pieces. Captain Phasma is exclusive to this set. I know that sounds weird since she is in other sets, but she has a new helmet design that resembles her helmet more. All three minifigures in this set are exclusive. Here's a tip: Since this set is ...

75256 STAR WARS Kylo Ren's Shuttle

Image
75256 STAR WARS Kylo Ren's Shuttle Kylo Ren's Shuttle is a ship from Episode VII, VIII and XI of STAR WARS. It's really cool, with two wings that aren't positioned like a normal ship's. There have been 2 models, but the best out of them is the 75256 Kylo Ren's Shuttle. It's the version of the model from The Rise of Skywalker, also known as Episode XI. It has shorter wings and it's black, not grey. You get so many Knights of Ren in this set. This set includes the upgraded Kylo Ren's Shuttle and a few projectiles (like always). The characters that come in this set are: Kylo Ren, General Pryde, a Sith Trooper, a stormtrooper and 2 Knights of Ren. I don't know their names, so you'll have to figure that out. It looks amazing from the front, but not so much at the back. It's just a bunch of wheels acting as thrusters. Inside of the ship, you can fit 3 minifigures, probably Kylo Ren, a Knight of Ren and General Pryce. I really wish the ...

71699 NINJAGO Thunder Raider

Image
71699 NINJAGO Thunder Raider NINJAGO Legacy sets are especially cool because they are remakes of the oldies. If you have one, you basically have an upgraded version. The 71699 Thunder Raider is one of the top picks when it comes to NINJAGO Legacy. Obviously, this set includes the Thunder Raider. It also includes Cole's Mech. It contains 5 minifigures: Legacy Sleeveless Jay, Legacy Sleeveless Cole, Legacy Sleeveless Lloyd, a Legacy Nindroid and Legacy Overlord.  As you can see, they had to fill in 2 extra pieces with a hotdog. It doesn't make sense at all, but it doesn't make the 71699 Thunder Raider a bad set. In fact, it might be better than the original version. Here's why: It includes more minifigures and both of the vehicles are bigger than before. If you have both Thunder Raiders, you can put them side by side and compare them.  This Thunder Raider starts at around $49.99.  We hope you liked this review. You can check b...

71713 NINJAGO Empire Dragon

Image
71713 NINJAGO Empire Dragon The 71713 Empire Dragon is a newly released set that is part of the Prime Empire series. It is very small but it makes up for that with the number of minifigures that come with this set. This set contains 3 minifigures, a lot if you compare it with other sets that size. It contains: Unagami, Digi Lloyd and Digi Kai. It also includes the red keytana. For some reason, this set includes random weapons that are featured in Prime Empire. Maybe they are supposed to be extras because they are so small and they have a high chance of going missing. There are a few things that are not the same in the series, such as: Unagami turns into the Empire Dragon, he doesn't ride it. Lloyd and Kai died in Prime Empire long before Unagami participated in a battle as the Empire Dragon. There were only 3 keytanas in Prime Empire, but this keytana plus the others that you collect in the sets equal 6 keytanas. This Empire Dragon starts...

71710 NINJAGO Ninja Tuner Car

Image
71710 NINJAGO Ninja Tuner Car This NINJAGO Prime Empire set is guaranteed to satisfy because it has so many exclusive parts. Obviously, it includes the Ninja Tuner Car. This set contains 4 minifigures: Scott, Digi Kai and 2 Red Visors. It also includes the pink keytana. For some reason, one of the Red Visors is holding a shield. In the show, none of the Red Visors hold shields. There are also some more things that are not the same in the series, such as: Scott dies in the game before the ninjas race in the Speedway Five Billion. The Ninja Tuner Car is never used in the race. Red Visors did not walk or run to pursue on the Speedway Five Billion, instead they used their own vehicles. Kai had his own car during the race. Like other sets in the Prime Empire series, this set includes unnecessary weapons. It might be because they are very small, and they have a high chance of going missing. This Ninja Tuner Car starts at around $39.99. We hope y...

70673 NINJAGO Shuricopter

Image
70673 NINJAGO Shuricopter This is a newly released set from Season 11 of NINJAGO: Masters of Spinjitzu. It's pretty cool, it contains all of the Scrolls of Forbidden Spinjitzu. Oddly, the minifigure who is handling the scroll is General Vex, the Ice Emperor's advisor. Obviously, this set includes the Shuricopter. This set contains 3 minifigures: Season 11 Zane, FS Jay and General Vex. Like I said, General Vex is the one who is handling the scroll, not the Ice Emperor. Like I also said, it contains all of the Scrolls of Forbidden Spinjitzu, which is pretty weird. Zane wasn't carrying all of them when he fell from the sky. Also, Zane didn't pilot the Shuricopter, P.I.X.A.L did. Lots of things that are in this set are not featured in the show. There is one more thing that doesn't make sense, neither Jay or the other ninja used Forbidden Spinjitzu in the Ice Chapter in Season 11. This Shuricopter starts at around $29.99. We hope you liked this revi...

75292 STAR WARS The Razor Crest

Image
75292 STAR WARS The Razor Crest The 75292 The Razor Crest is a newly released set from STAR WARS. It's actually from a subtheme of STAR WARS called 'The Mandalorian'. 'The Mandalorian is a TV show that is steaming on Disney+. Of course, this set includes The Razor Crest. It also contains 5 minifigures: The Mandalorian, The Child, IG-11, Greef Karga and an updated version of a Scout Trooper. This set doesn't include any side builds, which is disappointing. Also, it doesn't have any detail at all inside the build. The only detailed area is the cockpit. This set is fit for display but not play. The cockpit is actually quite nice, not to mention cramped. The detail has taken up space for the seats. The minifigures will probably be the main reason you're getting this set, which happens with other sets. But this set is not all bad, the ship has beautiful detailing, much like the real thing in the show. There are a few minifigures that are missing, such as:...

75254 STAR WARS AT-ST Raider

Image
75254 STAR WARS AT-ST Raider The 75254 AT-ST Raider is a newly released set from the STAR WARS subtheme 'The Mandalorian'. There are only 2 sets in this subtheme, which is pretty little when you think about the time LEGO has on its hands. This set, of course, includes the AT-ST Raider. It also contains 4 minifigures: The Mandalorian, Cara Dune and 2 Klatoonian Raiders. As you can see, the AT-ST Raider is just a slightly modified version of the standard AT-ST. It has a little paint on the legs and a little more on the compartment on top. Like the other set in the subtheme, there are no sidebuilds in this set, which is very disappointing. I guess that's STAR WARS for you. Aside from my complaints, this set is very good. It's actually better than the Razor Crest. It looks like the LEGO designers just took the design for the AT-ST and added a bunch of stuff to make it look messy. I would of liked it better if they changed the design, it would make t...

76126 MARVEL Avengers Ultimate Quinjet

Image
76126 MARVEL Avengers Ultimate Quinjet Marvel sets have changed a lot since we last saw them in catalogues. LEGO is introducing a new style for the MARVEL subthemes. Some people may not like it, some may. This set is one of the new ones. This set obviously includes the Ultimate Quinjet. It also contains 6 minifigures: Endgame Rocket Raccoon, Endgame Black Widow, Endgame Thor, Endgame Hawkeye and two Chitauri. It also includes an ATV thing. The set is really rated on the Quinjet and the minifigures, not that ATV thing in the corner. I don't know why, but the LEGO designers wanted to add a sidebuild, and this is what they came up with. I really like that this is not centered around Endgame too much, the heroes are wearing Endgame suits, but there are Chitauri in this set. Chitauri are Loki's minions, and they weren't in Endgame. Loki had nothing to do with Endgame. This set has a lot of functions like shooting newly shooting effect pieces. They would prove useful for stop...

2021 NINJAGO sets officially announced!

2021 NINJAGO sets officially announced! In the past week, the 2021 NINJAGO sets have been officially announced! Many people are talking about them and  many sets are to be announced. Sets that we know about so far include: Tournament of Elements, X-1 Ninja Charger, Boulder Blaster, Zane's Titan Mech Battle, Epic Battle Cole vs Ghost Warrior , Epic Battle Jay vs Serpentine, Epic Battle Kai vs Skulkin, Epic Battle Zane vs Nindroid and some others.  The Epic Battle sets start at around $9.99. The Tournament of Elements starts at around $29.99. The Boulder Blaster starts at around $39.99. The X-1 Ninja Charger starts at around $49.99, rather expensive for a car and some minifigures. The Zane's Titan Mech Battle starts at around $59.99.  Also, lists on the web about jungle-based sets coming out soon may hint that Season 14 of NINJAGO may be also jungle-based. They include: Lloyd's Jungle Chopper Bike, Jungle Dragon, The Keepers' Village, which I am m...

70670 NINJAGO Monastery of Spinjitzu

Image
70670 NINJAGO Monastery of Spinjitzu The 2019 NINJAGO Legacy wave is still going strong, and one of those sets is the 70670 Monastery of Spinjitzu. It's a beautiful set with lots of detail and minifigures. Obviously, as you can tell without opening the box, it includes the Monastery of Spinjitzu. It also contains 8 minifigures, including Legacy Master Wu, Legacy Dragon Kai, Legacy Dragon Jay, Legacy Dragon Cole, Legacy Dragon Zane, Legacy Dragon Nya, Legacy Dragon Lloyd and Legacy Wyplash. As you can see, the set also includes all four Golden Weapons, a catapult that launches fruit, two mini spinners and a training stand with weapons. It contains a chicken for some reason. Maybe it's Wu's pet in Season 11 of NINJAGO onwards. This set is good if you are considering getting loads of weapons. From my point of view, this set is based on Season 10 of NINJAGO, March of the Oni. The ninjas wear the same suit in Season 10 and the Monastery was rebuilt after it got des...

75286 STAR WARS General Grievous's Starfighter

Image
75286 STAR WARS General Grievous's Starfighter This STAR WARS set is very pricey but it may be worth it if you're a collector. Many shops sell this so there is no reason for the prices to be so high. This set includes General Grievous's Starfighter. It also contains 3 minifigures: General Grievous, Obi-Wan Kenobi and an Airborne Clone Trooper.  This set is good if you're looking to assemble a Jedi squad. It includes 5 lightsabers. 3 blue lightsabers and 2 green lightsabers. There are 2 blasters too. The ship has some special features such as stud launchers and projectile launchers. It looks like General Grievous hasn't had a revamp like I expected. I don't like the fact that he is white instead of peach. Loads of people were expecting the change but it didn't happen. This set is pretty cool but there are many cons, as I have said before. This General Grievous's Starfighter starts at around $69.99. We hope you liked this review. You can check back for so...

70626 NINJAGO Dawn of Iron Doom

Image
70626 NINJAGO Dawn of Iron Doom This NINJAGO set is from Season 7 of NINJAGO: Masters of Spinjitzu. It is a better deal than buying all the Hands of Time sets to get the Time Blades, because this set has all of them! This set includes the Iron Doom, a wooden platform and a mini speedboat, by the look of it. This set also contains 6 minifigures: Fusion Kai, Fusion Jay, Master Wu, Krux, Acronix and Commander Blunck. It also contains all the Time Blades, as I have said before, and a Vermillion egg.  The Time Twins also have hair pieces so if you want them to have hair instead of hoods, you can. All the Hands of Time sets include an overwhelming number of red snakes which are supposed to represent the Vermillion. The Vermillion minifigures are actually a bunch of Vermillion clumped together to form a body. The clock piece in the middle of the Iron Doom is exclusive to this set as are the flag pieces on the platform. There is a function on the side of t...

70669 NINJAGO Cole's Earth Driller

Image
70669 NINJAGO Cole's Earth Driller NINJAGO Legacy has always been impressive, with the updated versions of the originals and the minifigures. The Cole's Earth Driller not a disappointment at all with it having approximately 400 more pieces than the original. This set contains Cole's Earth Driller and the Giant Stone Warrior from the museum. It also contains 4 minifigures: Legacy Kai, Legacy Cole, a Stone Army Warrior and a Stone Army Scout.  The Giant Stone Warrior really is the main antagonist in this set. The Stone Army Warrior and Scout are just backup. You can collect one of four Golden Weapons which is the Scythe of Quakes. The cockpit window is exclusive to this version of the Cole's Earth Driller. There are two. Kai has his katanas and so does the Stone Warrior. There is no real scene in the series where the Earth Driller battles with the Giant Stone Warrior except in "The Weekend Drill", one of the episodes in the mini-series "Tales ...

70667 NINJAGO Kai's Blade Cycle and Zane's Snowmobile

Image
70667 NINJAGO Kai's Blade Cycle and Zane's Snowmobile This NINJAGO set is a good one because of the main builds and side builds. This would probably be a top choice for those who like the classic format of LEGO sets. This set is based on Season 1 of NINJAGO: Masters of Spinjitzu. It includes two beautiful recreations of Kai's Blade Cycle and Zane's Snowmobile, a street lamp, a stand and a box. The stand is for one of the Golden Weapons you get in this set. Yes, there are two in this set. Usually, only one major build is incorporated into sets. But I actually like how they put two major builds in this set. The street lamp, the stand and the box are all major side builds but I'm not sure if I should say that they are major builds. This set contains 4 minifigures, including: Legacy Kai, Legacy Cole, Lasha and Spitta.  This set includes a Spinjitzu spinner. It's pretty cool. I think that the spinners should be customized for each figure that is supposed to be put ...

75299 STAR WARS Trouble on Tatooine

Image
75299 STAR WARS Trouble on Tatooine This newly released set from the STAR WARS subtheme 'The Mandalorian' is the third set in the entire subtheme. It is very disappointing that LEGO could only make three sets. They could of tried to turn the fans' ideas into actual sets. But this set is not disappointing at all. It includes a campsite, a speeder bike and a giant crossbow. This set contains 3 minifigures: Beskar The Mandalorian, The Child and a Tusken Raider. Many people love the Beskar version of The Mandalorian. The arm printing is amazing. We don't get much minifigures with arm printing. I love the matte finish on the projectile pieces. We've never seen them before, at least not in STAR WARS. Usually, there is at least one confusing thing in each set I review, and there is another confusing thing in this set. The Tusken Raider serves as the opposition for this set. Actually, in the show, the Tusken Raiders were supposed to side with The Mandalorian and Cob...

71722 NINJAGO Skull Sorcerer's Dungeons

Image
71722 NINJAGO Skull Sorcerer's Dungeons Season 13 of NINJAGO: Masters of Spinjitzu has been a good season, with all the action and new characters. The 71722 Skull Sorcerer's Dungeons is one of the most recognizable sets of all of this season's wave of sets. It is not a normal set though, even though it may look like one. This set can also be played with as a board game. All you have to do is connect it with three other selected sets and you can play the board game. That is why this set has so many heart-shaped tiles and functions. This set includes the Skull Sorcerer's Dungeons, of course. It also contains 8 minifigures, including: Hero Zane, Hero Lloyd, Hero Cole, Princess Vania, the Skull Sorcerer, an Awakened Warrior, Murt and Ginkle. For the board game, this set includes a Spinjitzu-style dice with a bunch of dots or numbers like a traditional dice. The Skull Sorcerer has wings made of pieces from the DC Superheroes theme. The coolest pieces in my opinion are th...

40374 NINJAGO Golden Zane Accessory Pack

Image
40374 NINJAGO Golden Zane Accessory Pack Accessory packs are being talked about a lot these days, so I decided to make a couple of reviews about them. The first one is the Golden Zane Accessory Pack. This one is particularly popular and being featured a lot in stop-motions. This pack includes Cyrus Borg's transport and contains 4 minifigures: Golden Zane, Min-Droid a Nindroid Warrior and a Nindroid Drone. The first minifigure I want to talk about is Golden Zane. His mask is a recolored Legacy design but the rest of the suit has new printing. That's pretty cool. Also, Zane's head piece is a Legacy design. This is the first golden ninja from Rebooted if you exclude Lloyd. LEGO has to make more of these.  The second minifigure I want to talk about is Min-Droid. You might be wondering why one of the Nindroids has short legs. That's Min-droid, and he has short legs in the show, so he must have a pair here. He has a thing on his back, it's probably a backpack. The red s...

75053 STAR WARS The Ghost

Image
75053 STAR WARS The Ghost This STAR WARS set is a good one. Usually, LEGO sets from subthemes are better than the one from the main theme. It may sound weird, but it's true. The 75053 The Ghost is no exception, it has almost all the neccessary things to make a good set. There are many functions in this set. This set includes The Ghost. It also contains 5 minifigures, one of the cons of this set. They include: Hera Syndulla, Kanan Jarrus, Zeb Orrelios and a cartoon-style Stormtrooper. One of the things I like about this set is that the back of the ship can fit another set in it, the 75048 The Phantom. The build is very screen-accurate from far away. But if you look at it up close, you can see that it is not a minifigure-scale build. I doubt that LEGO can't make a UCS version of this, if they can make a Millennium Falcon with over 5000 pieces! But as usual in STAR WARS, the only things that actually fit the minifigures quite nicely are the ...

79003 THE HOBBIT An Unexpected Gathering

Image
79003 THE HOBBIT An Unexpected Gathering This set is very impressive, it is probably by far the best THE HOBBIT set that you can find nowadays. The build is very good with many minifigures. It has almost all the main members of the party, the only one left out being Thorin Oakenshield. You get many accessories in this set like a book and several maps. This set is a good source of accessories if you're ready to pay a pretty large price for this set. This set includes Bag End. This set also contains 6 minifigures: Gandalf the Grey, Bilbo Baggins, Dwalin, Balin, Bofur and Bombur.  This set is really cool, as I have said before. The amount of accessories is amazing, even compared to the accessories in the 70620 NINJAGO City. When you look at Bag End, it doesn't look like much, but like most builds, you have to turn it around if you want to see the interior, which is quite nice. I like how LEGO put in so many green pieces and not a lot of brown, except for the wood. The Lord of t...

70665 NINJAGO The Samurai Mech

Image
70665 NINJAGO The Samurai Mech Many NINJAGO Legacy sets are smaller versions of the originals, and that is the case with this set. This set isn't bad, but it is very small compared to the older version. The Samurai Mech is a good set to go with 70670 Monastery of Spinjitzu since it contains 2 skeletons. There is also a skeleton in 70670 Monastery of Spinjitzu. This set includes The Samurai Mech. It also contains 3 minifigures, including: Samurai X, Kruncha and Nuckal. There are some cool tile pieces in this set too. The mech is not that good compared to the original because the size and the look. To me, it looks like a completely different mech that we haven't seen before. But I guesss LEGO was trying to make a cheap version of the Samurai X Mech. The legs are pretty sturdy but the arms are a little weak. The flag on the top of the mech is a nice touch. The weapons are very cool. So you could buy a couple of these and have a hoard of bony ...

NINJAGO City Gardens is finally here!

Image
NINJAGO City Gardens is finally here! The 71741 NINJAGO City Gardens  was just "leaked" and it seems pretty cool. Even though it's a NINJAGO Legacy set, it is still an expansion for the retired The LEGO NINJAGO Movie theme sets: 70620 NINJAGO City and 70657 NINJAGO City Docks. You may have seen this set on the web already, but it's still cool to look at it, and the best thing is that the 2021 catalogue will be released soon. This is an issue to look forward to. Also, in the VIP Early Access box below, you can see that this set will be available in most places starting February 1st. VIPs can get it on January 14th. The set looks a little small even though it has more pieces than the NINJAGO City or NINJAGO City Docks. There are several characters that will come with this set that are very rare, so whatever the price will be, it will be worth it for collectors.   There are so many nice characters in this set, like Clutch Powers and Young Lloyd. Misako...

70752 NINJAGO Jungle Trap

Image
70752 NINJAGO Jungle Trap This Season 4 set is a good deal and a good set, since it contains a Jadeblade/Jadeblades, a very rare accessory. The overall design of this set is good. Small sets seem to impress more than large ones because usually, the good design can only last for a little while before a bunch of random colored bricks and side builds come in. This set includes a "structure" and one or two Jadeblades. I'm not sure. This set contains 2 minifigures, including: Tournament of Elements Kai and an Anacondrai Warrior. The set has lots of detail and a lot of weapons. The weird thing is that the Anacondrai Warrior is holding a weapon that the Skulkin have. There isn't much to say about this set because it's so small. But maybe NINJAGO Legacy will have a similar set with more pieces. Also, this set is one of the few sets that you can get Tournament of Elements Kai in. There ...

70642 NINJAGO Killow vs. Samurai X

Image
70642 NINJAGO Killow vs. Samurai X This NINJAGO set is still going strong on retail sites, and that's no surprise. It is is a very satisfying set because you get some minifigures and then a couple of vehicles. This set includes the new Samurai X Mech, Killow's Oni Chopper and Killow's backpack. It also contains 3 minifigures, which add to the set's value nowadays, since 2 of the minifigures are exclusive to this set. They include: S.O.G Jay, P.I.X.A.L/ Samurai X and Killow. The last two are the exclusive ones. This set also includes the Oni Mask of Deception. Some people may prefer the new Samurai X and want to get more sets with it. Like I said, this minifigure is exclusive to this set. The Samurai X Mech is the second most screen-accurate version we have seen. The 70665 Samurai X Mech looks nothing like it does in the show. The Oni Chopper is very good-looking, with the big saw wheel in the front and the little "wings". The S.O.G. Jay is very cool, bu...

853687 NINJAGO Elemental Masters Accessory Pack

Image
853687 NINJAGO Elemental Masters Accessory Pack This is the second accessory pack review in the "series". This pack is a very interesting one because it's based on different versions of a few Elemental Masters. This pack is not the one to choose if you're looking to buy a accessory pack with a side build. But is is the one to get if you want cool minifigures. This pack contains 3 minifigures: Skybound Skylor, Tournament of Elements Shade and Tournament of Elements Ash. This pack is fairly small, if you compare this to other accessory packs or polybags. The first minifigure I want to talk about is Skylor. The Skybound version looks way better than the Jungle version from Tournament of Elements. There is another hairpiece for her so if you don't want the hood, you can switch it out for the hairpiece. The sushi tile is nice. I'm not sure if it's a reference to Chen's Noodle House but I don't think so. The quiver and bow are a nice source of weapons f...

How to play the NINJAGO Choose the Path board game

How to play the NINJAGO Choose The Path board game The Choose The path board game from NINJAGO sounds fun, because it is. Basically, you buy four sets, including: 71722 Skull Sorcerer's Dungeons, 71717 Journey to the Skull Dungeons, 71719 Zane's Mino Creature and 71721 Skull Sorcerer's Dragon. You put them together and you form one big set, which is the game. In each one of these four sets, you get a spinjitzu-style dice. It has five sides, unlike a normal dice. There are a bunch of dots, just like a normal dice. But there is one of two symbols above each set of dots. I will talk about them later. There are rules, of course. There are also roles you can take. For example, one of you is a Gamemaster and the other is a Player. The Gamemaster's job is to read the entire adventure,  game and roll for non-player characters, like bad guys, and finally, make sure the Players  follow the rules. Also, the Gamemaster has the authority to ignore the rules if the game seems to hav...

LEGO City 2021 Sets

LEGO City 2021 Sets The LEGO City sets are probably the earliest releases of 2021. And they seem to be popular already. Some ToysRUs and LEGO store have them. The wave includes several sets from last year, but there are lots of new, exciting and good sets. The catalogue for 2021(1-5) shows that some new sets will be very cheap. For example, the 60285 Sports Car is one of these sets. The 60284 Roadwork Truck is also one of these. The boxes are very small and the sets have 55 to 90 pieces.  The big sets include an old set, it used to be exclusive but now it's available to everyone, the 60271 Main Square. It's big for a City set, but it's actually a better deal then a medium-sized STAR WARS set. There are some great police sets this year, with the 60277 Police Patrol Boat, the 60276 Police Prisoner Transport and the 60139 Poli...

75201 STAR WARS Luke Skywalker's X-Wing Fighter

Image
75201 STAR WARS Luke Skywalker's X-Wing Fighter LEGO hasn't given us much STAR WARS sets so far this year, but the few sets that they have already released are spectacular. The 75301 Luke Skywalker's X-Wing Fighter is the best out of these, and it must be exceptionally good if all of this wave is amazing. It has all new minifigures and a completely new-looking X-Wing design. It's great. Also, a minifigure that has never been made before comes in this set. So, this set includes a large X-Wing Fighter and a red projectile to shoot with. It also contains 3 minifigures, including: Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia and General Dodonna! That's right, he is in this set! This set also contains R2-D2. I don't think R2 counts as a minifigure, even though he is listed on the front of sets along with the other minifigures. As you can see, the X-Wing looks a bit big. And, you can see an unfamiliar face among the heroes; he is the 'General Dodonna' I mentioned earlier.  ...

71705 NINJAGO Destiny's Bounty

Image
71705 NINJAGO Destiny's Bounty The Destiny's Bounty is an iconic ship from the NINJAGO show. There have been many sets including it, but the most recent set is called 71705 Destiny's Bounty. It's quite expensive, but the complete build is pretty cool, making this set fit for putting on a shelf or just looking at. This set includes the Destiny's Bounty and all the Golden Weapons. It also contains 7 minifigures: Kai, Jay, Cole, Zane, Samurai X, Master Wu and Young Lloyd Garmadon. This set is a good starter pack if you're trying to assemble a collection, or are just making a stop-motion with LEGO.                                               Now, there are several weapons in this set making it a good source for weapons for an army or squad. The size of the set is just perfect because it's good ...

Image
Monthly Brick No.1 - Medieval Blacksmith,        NINJAGO 10th Anniversary, 2021 Set Ideas IDEAS is usually not the theme that most people are looking for when they buy a set, but the newest IDEAS set is sure to please. It's a blacksmith's workshop with a look that gives it the title: 'Medieval Blacksmith'. It has 4 minifigures and a dog, and it's a great extension to your CASTLE collection (if you have one). It's already available on lego.com at $149.99. Of course, you would want to check it out before you bought it so here's the link: https://www.lego.com/en-us/product/medieval-blacksmith-21325   The set includes a blacksmith shop and a wagon. The characters currently don't have names so they are: Archer, Blacksmith, Knight with Helmet and Wagon Driver Knight. There are 3 levels in the shop but it's not really for playing with; the wagon is. You can display the blacksmith shop and play with the wagon so you can't really play with them togeth...

75244 STAR WARS Tantive IV

Image
75244 STAR WARS Tantive IV The Tantive IV from Star Wars is a classic one. It first appears in Episode IV when the stormtroopers board it to find the secret plans of the Death Star. There have only been two  models of the Tantive IV (not counting the mini-models) but they were made was back in 2001 and 2011 and not much people got the chance to purchase it, so the UCS Tantive IV was great for people who missed out. The only con was that they weren't able to get the old minifigures and boxes. This set includes an average-sized Tantive IV (it's not big like other UCS sets), a few projectiles and a thing that you carry, most likely a storage unit. The minifigures that come with this set are: Princess Leia, C-3PO, Bail Organa, Captain Antilles and a Rebel Soldier. R2-D2 also comes in this set. There are several functions in this set, most of them user-friendly like the radar dish. You can use it as a handle to carry the model around. I t...
