       70642 NINJAGO Killow vs. Samurai X

This NINJAGO set is still going strong on retail sites, and that's no surprise. It is is a very satisfying set because you get some minifigures and then a couple of vehicles. This set includes the new Samurai X Mech, Killow's Oni Chopper and Killow's backpack. It also contains 3 minifigures, which add to the set's value nowadays, since 2 of the minifigures are exclusive to this set. They include: S.O.G Jay, P.I.X.A.L/ Samurai X and Killow. The last two are the exclusive ones. This set also includes the Oni Mask of Deception.




Some people may prefer the new Samurai X and want to get more sets with it. Like I said, this minifigure is exclusive to this set. The Samurai X Mech is the second most screen-accurate version we have seen. The 70665 Samurai X Mech looks nothing like it does in the show. The Oni Chopper is very good-looking, with the big saw wheel in the front and the little "wings". The S.O.G. Jay is very cool, but LEGO should of made his suit dark blue. In my opinion, and maybe in a lot of others, this set is the most screen-accurate set overall from Season 6 to Season 9. There are stud launchers on the Samurai X Mech's left arm which is nice. There is also a saw on the other arm which adds a lot of detail to that arm. Without the saw, the right arm would of looked rather flimsy. Like many other mechs and vehicles, the mech has giant blades sticking out of the back of it. Since this set is discontinued, the prices I give may not be accurate.



This Killow vs. Samurai X starts at around $ 120 new and $90 used.

 60324 CITY Mobile Crane CITY sets are back, with more great builds and minifigs. One of these new sets is a mobile crane vehicle, called 60324 CITY Mobile Crane. It's a great addition to your MOC city, considering that a crane like this has never been made. Yes, there was a TECHNIC version, but how are you going to fit that into your city? I'm just talking about good old bricks. Let's get to the set now. It includes 1 crane, a road plate, and 2 minifigures. Not much to it considering how much you'll have to pay for this set, but still, exclusive parts abound in this one. None of the minifigs are named, but you'll find that they still make appearances in the TV show. 60404 CITY Burger Truck

       As I said last article, I would do an article on the new burger truck set from LEGO, so now here I am doing that. It was a bit more overpriced than I initially assumed, so I wasn't too pleased but I guess it's okay. Anyway, before we get to the price, I want to just introduce the set. It's directed towards those 5 years old and up and included 194 pieces. The sole build is obviously a burger truck, or rather a burger van  because of its humble size with a big detachable burger housing the chef. Technically, the vehicle is just a flatbed van that carries a big hollow replica of the products its owners are selling. Anyway, the set, in terms of characters, is standard for these food truck sets from CITY: 2.
