              75053 STAR WARS The Ghost

This STAR WARS set is a good one. Usually, LEGO sets from subthemes are better than the one from the main theme. It may sound weird, but it's true. The 75053 The Ghost is no exception, it has almost all the neccessary things to make a good set. There are many functions in this set. This set includes The Ghost. It also contains 5 minifigures, one of the cons of this set. They include: Hera Syndulla, Kanan Jarrus, Zeb Orrelios and a cartoon-style Stormtrooper.




One of the things I like about this set is that the back of the ship can fit another set in it, the 75048 The Phantom. The build is very screen-accurate from far away. But if you look at it up close, you can see that it is not a minifigure-scale build. I doubt that LEGO can't make a UCS version of this, if they can make a Millennium Falcon with over 5000 pieces! But as usual in STAR WARS, the only things that actually fit the minifigures quite nicely are the cockpits, and the interiors barely fit them. There is a gun turret on the top of the ship which I think is supposed to spin around. The dome at the top is a nice touch, not to mention neccesary. The engines at the back are the best details of them all. They are the most screen-accurate things in this set. There are projectile launchers at the bottom, which is cool. Since this set is discontinued, the pricing I give may not  be accurate.



This The Ghost starts at around $343 new and $224 used.

 60324 CITY Mobile Crane CITY sets are back, with more great builds and minifigs. One of these new sets is a mobile crane vehicle, called 60324 CITY Mobile Crane. It's a great addition to your MOC city, considering that a crane like this has never been made. Yes, there was a TECHNIC version, but how are you going to fit that into your city? I'm just talking about good old bricks. Let's get to the set now. It includes 1 crane, a road plate, and 2 minifigures. Not much to it considering how much you'll have to pay for this set, but still, exclusive parts abound in this one. None of the minifigs are named, but you'll find that they still make appearances in the TV show. 60404 CITY Burger Truck

       As I said last article, I would do an article on the new burger truck set from LEGO, so now here I am doing that. It was a bit more overpriced than I initially assumed, so I wasn't too pleased but I guess it's okay. Anyway, before we get to the price, I want to just introduce the set. It's directed towards those 5 years old and up and included 194 pieces. The sole build is obviously a burger truck, or rather a burger van  because of its humble size with a big detachable burger housing the chef. Technically, the vehicle is just a flatbed van that carries a big hollow replica of the products its owners are selling. Anyway, the set, in terms of characters, is standard for these food truck sets from CITY: 2.
