NINJAGO 10th Anniversary, 2021 Set Ideas

IDEAS is usually not the theme that most people are looking for when they buy a set, but the newest IDEAS set is sure to please. It's a blacksmith's workshop with a look that gives it the title: 'Medieval Blacksmith'. It has 4 minifigures and a dog, and it's a great extension to your CASTLE collection (if you have one).  The set includes a blacksmith shop and a wagon. The characters currently don't have names so they are: Archer, Blacksmith, Knight with Helmet and Wagon Driver Knight.






There are 3 levels in the shop but it's not really for playing with; the wagon is. You can display the blacksmith shop and play with the wagon so you can't really play with them together like other sets. If you look at the knights' shirts, you can see that the emblems on them are the same as some of the knights' in the CASTLE theme. One of the knights' shoulder armor piece is from the NINJAGO Season 13 wave of sets.



Speaking of NINJAGO, NINJAGO's 10th anniversary was recently, and there were many sets related to it. The sets contained one golden minifigure each with a custom display, depending on which figure it was. 


   


NINJAGO has probably gotten over 'the big celebration' and has moved on to focus on Season 14: The Island and Season 15. Still, the golden minifigures are the main collectibles for NINJAGO: Legacy this year instead of the Golden Weapons. STAR WARS should have something like that.



And speaking of STAR WARS (yes, I'm only 'speaking' of it to give a smooth transition from one topic to another), I have some set ideas. The first set that they should make should be the Bad Batch's Shuttle. Star Wars: The Clone Wars ended last year but we still have nothing of the kind. We just have some more TIE Fighters that we seem to get every year or two. I know everyone has been asking for it and I agree, we should have one. The second set I think could be made is a Mandalore Throne Room battle or something like that. I have some more ideas, so here they are listed down below:

These are most of my ideas for sets that could be made. I hope I see some of these soon because we haven't gotten them yet and these have main roles in the movies and TV show. More articles are coming out soon, and remember, there will be another Monthly Brick in March.

 31100 CREATOR Sports Car The 31100 CREATOR Sports Car is a recent LEGO release, and a CREATOR set. I feel the need to review this to be fair to the CREATOR fans out there, including myself. There are no minifigures included, which may be a downer for some people, but it's totally fine. The absence of minifigures does not stop this set from being great for both play and display. 60324 CITY Mobile Crane

 60324 CITY Mobile Crane CITY sets are back, with more great builds and minifigs. One of these new sets is a mobile crane vehicle, called 60324 CITY Mobile Crane. It's a great addition to your MOC city, considering that a crane like this has never been made. Yes, there was a TECHNIC version, but how are you going to fit that into your city? I'm just talking about good old bricks. Let's get to the set now. It includes 1 crane, a road plate, and 2 minifigures. Not much to it considering how much you'll have to pay for this set, but still, exclusive parts abound in this one. None of the minifigs are named, but you'll find that they still make appearances in the TV show. 60404 CITY Burger Truck

       As I said last article, I would do an article on the new burger truck set from LEGO, so now here I am doing that. It was a bit more overpriced than I initially assumed, so I wasn't too pleased but I guess it's okay. Anyway, before we get to the price, I want to just introduce the set. It's directed towards those 5 years old and up and included 194 pieces. The sole build is obviously a burger truck, or rather a burger van  because of its humble size with a big detachable burger housing the chef. Technically, the vehicle is just a flatbed van that carries a big hollow replica of the products its owners are selling. Anyway, the set, in terms of characters, is standard for these food truck sets from CITY: 2.
