75244 STAR WARS Tantive IV
The Tantive IV from Star Wars is a classic one. It first appears in Episode IV when the stormtroopers board it to find the secret plans of the Death Star. There have only been two models of the Tantive IV (not counting the mini-models) but they were made was back in 2001 and 2011 and not much people got the chance to purchase it, so the UCS Tantive IV was great for people who missed out. The only con was that they weren't able to get the old minifigures and boxes. This set includes an average-sized Tantive IV (it's not big like other UCS sets), a few projectiles and a thing that you carry, most likely a storage unit. The minifigures that come with this set are: Princess Leia, C-3PO, Bail Organa, Captain Antilles and a Rebel Soldier. R2-D2 also comes in this set.
There are several functions in this set, most of them user-friendly like the radar dish. You can use it as a handle to carry the model around. I think doing this isn't the best option for transporting the model from place to place since the radar dish probably can't hold all that weight, but it's user-friendly since there's no problem picking it up. You've got to consider that first before you pick it up with the handle. The next function is the middle of the ship. Open the top and there is a little meeting room with a seat and some clips for guns or something. The good thing is, minifigures can fit while they're standing. There is a problem with a lot of sets because you can only sit your minifigures down or they won't fit. You can fit the soldiers inside the cockpit so they can fly the ship. The big turrets at the top and bottom can move around. The small ones are just for display.
This Tantive IV starts at around $199.99.
