60330 CITY Hospital
New waves of LEGO sets are always an exciting thing, but this year was more than exciting. It was phenomenal! We got a mobile crane, more police headquarters sets, a fire station, a series of stunt-inspired sets, and other great stuff. But, to top off the list, we got a hospital. There hasn't been a hospital set for years, so that's why it's kind of a big deal. The newest hospital set is loaded with minifigs and beautiful builds, so all this waiting was really worth it. In a moment, you'll see what I mean. Anyway, this set includes a hospital, a helicopter, an ambulance truck, and 12 minfigures. 4 of them are named, and they are: Dr. Flieber, Dr. Spetzel, Citrus the Clown, and Wallop. This set also includes a wheelchair and dirt bike. It's a really big change from last year, since we were only getting a few builds (most times a single building), but now we're getting sets overflowing with builds and figs. I hope this continues...

The hospital looks great, and the detailing is really expressive. I seriously think that this set would worth it just for the hospital, no ambulance or helicopter. The minifigs are pretty cool as well, especially the clown, because of the exclusive prints on his torso.
The Wallop guy has exclusive printing on both his torso and leg elements, which makes him a sought-after minifig, just like Greedo in the STAR WARS theme. The other characters are okay, and are quite close in appearance to any other commoner in the CITY theme. There's nothing really to be excited about here. The builds are what people are getting this set for, really. Just let me say, the minifigs are good, and they should be something that others buy this set for, but the hospital is cool, like I said before, and it's okay for people to consider this set just a hospital.
The hospital has many cool features, like a fold-out children's ward, an MRI machine with a sliding stretcher, and a lavatory with several compartments. There is also a maternity ward with a contemporary cradle and a bed. If you search these rooms thoroughly, you will find a bounty of extra details in every spot imaginable, and it all only makes use of 816 pieces. That's not a lot when you consider everything, and it is admittedly amazing that LEGO pulled this off perfectly.
There are so many great details in this set.
Anyway, that's it. This set is totally amazing and I do recommend getting this, if you feel like you absolutely have to after reading this, but for others, I say that you should wait a bit, when this set goes on sale. But what do you think? Is this set worth it? I absolutely think so, but how about you?
This Hospital starts at around $119.99.
