76156 MARVEL Rise of the Domo
Marvel is currently in its 4th phase of rapid film releases, and one of the results of this rush is Eternals. It was released last year, but the LEGO sets from this film have really taken their time. I won't say they're horrible, but I won't say they're perfect either. Here is one of these sets: 76156 MARVEL Rise of the Domo! When you buy this set, you get: the Eternals' triangular spaceship, 2 Deviant monsters and 6 minifigures. These figs are all Eternals, as it is with every other set based on the film, and they are: Makkari, Ikaris, Sersi, Druig, Thena, and Phastos. Greek myths come to mind when thinking of these names, which is interesting and might provide a clue of where the directors got the influence. Anyway, this set is also packed with accessories, which I won't list here because it is futile.

Here is the set! By the way, those blast pieces on the right are merely a quarter of the number of great accessories that come with this set. The Deviant aliens look pretty cool, especially the one on all fours. It looks like some lion or something, which is another figure which appears in Greek mythology regularly (I'm starting to see something here). The Deviants also make use of many exclusive molds throughout their building process, which adds both to their looks and value to collectors. The Eternals, on the other hand, are nothing too special. The best thing about them is probably their torso and leg printing, but that's all I will say about them. At least the designers of this set stayed true to the movie.
The torso and leg printing make extensive use of circles, which makes the figures look a little mystical and inter-stellar, if you know what I mean.
The top of the ship can fold out revealing rooms inside the ship. This picture here shows the interior of the 'weapons room', according to LEGO. Here we have tons of gear accessories, just like I talked about before. There are new pieces with never-before-seen colors, and we have old ones with interesting printing. The gold pipes in this room are also rare, as they have never been manufactured before.
There is also the 'lab', piled high with tech accessories, as shown in the picture below.
The lab is bigger than what you see here, and this image only shows the entrance, with a robot carrying something that is supposed to be a hologram. Again, notice the extensive use of circles in this room, as they also bring to mind maps of space, like in STAR WARS.
There are many corridors in this ship to view, and the build is also very satisfying, adding to the appeal, as cool as it is already. The set is quite large, even though it may not look like it, with there being 1040 pieces altogether in this set. There is also a spacious cockpit at the head of the ship, with there being enough space for a minifig and a bunch of cool gadgets.
The sides can also fold out, providing easy access to the interior of the ship.
Overall, this set is very satisfying both while building and using. It makes for a great gift and goes well on most shelves. The minifigures are very plain, but the Deviant monsters bring some extra flair to the set.
This Rise of the Domo starts at around $89.99.
