 40517 CREATOR EXPERT Vespa

The Vespa is an iconic Italian motorbike, and with good reason. This vehicle has been made famous not just by being a great bike. This motorbike has made its way into countless TV shows, movies, and LEGO sets, which just happens to be what this site is about. Today, I'll be reviewing the 40517 CREATOR Expert Vespa set. This is a relatively small build, but nevertheless, this set is really authentic and a great model to put on a shelf.

This set includes 118 pieces, and is for 9+. All you get is a Vespa motorbike, but it's actually pretty good for what you're paying here.

I'm really satisfied for what you get for $9.99, which is dirt cheap when it comes to LEGO. It packs detail and function into one little 9"x 12"x 6" motorbike and the bold red color really helps this thing stand out among the other Seasonal releases. I'm also really surprised that you get stickers here, but it just adds more authenticity to this build. 

The seat is probably the most disappointing thing of all in this build, just because it looks a little weird in proportions. I hope there will be a new "seat" element soon though, and not just for this bike. In fact, most LEGO bikes that aren't minifig-scaled are bound to look a little awkward. 

The attention to detail is spectacular, with the stickers I mentioned before, and uncommon elements both making an appearance here. To conclude, this set is definitely worth it and it's just a great LEGO kit on its own. I'm really surprised that this didn't cost extra because of the licensing.

 60324 CITY Mobile Crane CITY sets are back, with more great builds and minifigs. One of these new sets is a mobile crane vehicle, called 60324 CITY Mobile Crane. It's a great addition to your MOC city, considering that a crane like this has never been made. Yes, there was a TECHNIC version, but how are you going to fit that into your city? I'm just talking about good old bricks. Let's get to the set now. It includes 1 crane, a road plate, and 2 minifigures. Not much to it considering how much you'll have to pay for this set, but still, exclusive parts abound in this one. None of the minifigs are named, but you'll find that they still make appearances in the TV show. 60404 CITY Burger Truck

       As I said last article, I would do an article on the new burger truck set from LEGO, so now here I am doing that. It was a bit more overpriced than I initially assumed, so I wasn't too pleased but I guess it's okay. Anyway, before we get to the price, I want to just introduce the set. It's directed towards those 5 years old and up and included 194 pieces. The sole build is obviously a burger truck, or rather a burger van  because of its humble size with a big detachable burger housing the chef. Technically, the vehicle is just a flatbed van that carries a big hollow replica of the products its owners are selling. Anyway, the set, in terms of characters, is standard for these food truck sets from CITY: 2.
